Terms Sugar Rush Bakery is owned and operated by Hatch Productions PTY LTD (ABN: 99 497 604 238). By accessing, browsing, using, or purchasing on this website, you agree to the conditions and terms stated.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we have amended our terms to offer greater reassurance for anyone booking a cake order in advance: In the event of a government or local council-mandated shutdown, we promise to refund your order in full or hold it for a date in the future of your choosing (whichever option is preferred by the customer). If a customer needs to cancel an order due to any other circumstances, it will be subject to our standard T&Cs.

Sugar Rush Bakery may amend these terms and conditions at our own discretion, with amendments becoming effective immediately.

These terms and conditions must be read and understood before placing your order with Sugar Rush Bakery.

SMS Marketing. By providing your mobile number at checkout, signing up via our website, or subscribing in-store, you consent to receive SMS marketing messages from Sugar Rush Bakery. These messages may include promotions, order updates, reminders, or other relevant communications.

  • Consent: You agree to receive SMS communications from us by opting in, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Opt-out: To stop receiving messages, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS. You may also contact us at hello@sugarrushbakery.com.au to be removed from our SMS list.

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with us (e.g., promotional messages or updates about your orders).

  • Data & Charges: Standard message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile provider.

  • Privacy: Your mobile number and personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Each message we send will clearly identify Sugar Rush Bakery as the sender and include a simple method to opt out. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and only send messages to individuals who have given clear and express consent.

Order Confirmation Full payment is required to confirm any cake orders. Until payment is received, your order cannot be guaranteed. Issuance and receipt of your invoice are taken as confirmation of your order, and because we may have had to turn away other clients and start preparations for your order, invoices will remain payable in the event of cancellation or postponement.

Changing an Order Sugar Rush Bakery will accept any changes to addresses, delivery dates, messages, and products, if we are provided with 48 hours' notice via email at hello@sugarrushbakery.com.au prior to the scheduled delivery date.

You are able to change or cancel an order without charge or penalty at any time up to 48 hours before delivery. No changes or cancellations will be accepted after this cutoff time.

If, on the day of delivery, we are supplied with incorrect delivery information or the customer wishes to make any changes, the order will not be delivered on the same day the change is made and will be sent out on the following delivery date. In the event the customer does not want our redelivery service, no refund will be provided.

Cancellations and Refunds Orders can be cancelled and a full refund issued if Sugar Rush Bakery is provided with 48 hours' notice via hello@sugarrushbakery.com.au prior to the scheduled delivery date.

If an order is requested to be cancelled within the 48-hour period, we are happy to offer a full credit note to use within 12 months. The customer will receive the full refund less any applicable fees.

Under any circumstances, orders CANNOT be cancelled 24 hours prior to delivery or during delivery.

When a refund has been processed, it may take between 1–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Delivery Sugar Rush Bakery delivers to the Perth metropolitan area and selected surrounding suburbs. Some suburbs are excluded from our deliveries based on their distance from our bakery.

Deliveries generally take place Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on the selected day. Saturday deliveries usually occur between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

We are unable to specify an exact delivery time as all delivery drivers must follow a specific route to complete their deliveries within the times listed above. We are unable to prioritise any delivery addresses under any circumstances.

While every effort is made to adhere to the delivery schedule, we use both internal and external couriers. Occasionally, situations arise that are out of our control, resulting in delays. We cannot accept responsibility for such delays but assure you that every effort is made to ensure your order arrives on time and in perfect condition.

No refunds will be issued if your order is delivered outside of the stated delivery window, as these are guidelines only.

If There Is Nobody to Accept Delivery If the recipient is unable to accept delivery at the specified address and it is safe to do so, the order may be left at the door at the discretion of the driver. Please note, we are not responsible for any 'melted' or 'infested' products, as it is the customer's responsibility to attend to the cake within the delivery timeframe.

Authority to Leave If there is nowhere safe to leave the cake or the driver cannot access the delivery address, the number registered with the order will be contacted. If the customer does not answer after one attempt or the contact number is incorrect, the cake will be returned to Sugar Rush Bakery and a re-delivery fee of $15 will apply.

If the delivery address supplied by the customer is incorrect or insufficient, Sugar Rush Bakery does not accept any responsibility for incorrect deliveries. It is the customer’s obligation to provide accurate information when placing the order, including recipient details and a contact number.

If a company name is not stated on the order and it is being delivered to a company, the item is at risk of being incorrectly delivered. Sugar Rush Bakery will not take any responsibility for this. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure sufficient delivery details are provided.

Please note: By choosing to deliver to businesses or schools, you assume the risk that the delivery may fall outside opening or closing times. We cannot guarantee delivery within specific operating hours for businesses or schools.

Cake Design We reserve the right to substitute cake flavours and decorations, subject to stock availability. All cakes are handmade, which means slight imperfections and variations may occur. Please note, the proportions of decorations may vary on larger-sized cakes.

Cake Storage We have worked hard with our talented bakers and decorators to create cakes that are delicious from the first bite and best consumed when stored in a cool, dry place. Refrigerating and consuming your cake straight away may cause it to harden and dry out.

If you wish to consume your cake the day after delivery, please refrigerate it overnight in our packaging and let it sit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for 5–6 hours prior to consumption.

Sugar Rush Bakery will not accept responsibility for any damage to cakes that have been successfully delivered by our staff. Any damage caused while handling or transporting the cake is the customer’s responsibility and will not be refunded or credited.
